Hands-On Cooking Classes

"Hands-on classes are a combination of learning, recreation, entertainment and fine-dining, all in one afternoon. Classes are broken up into small work groups, rotating around the kitchen, focusing not only on the ingredients of the day, but also the different skills and techniques used in preparation. The small group format also allows for everyone’s hands-on involvement, and the opportunity to ask questions and focus on things that may be difficult to understand. The atmosphere is always friendly, and everyone is encouraged to step up, roll up their sleeves, and get their hands into the food.

Those attending classes are a blend of experienced home cooks, to those who are just starting out and everyone in between; but the staff ensures everyone is comfortable and we all leave smarter and more confident in our skills. I have never attended a cooking class where I have not been able to improve on my cooking skills, or learn a new short-cut that will help me in the kitchen. The classes take you beyond just learning how to make a recipe; they teach you how ingredients interact with each other and how they affect what you are preparing. You learn those "little secrets" that can´t be found in a cookbook, but come from those who have studied and worked in the kitchen as professionals.

It is amazing what can be learned in 2-3 hours in the kitchen; and after all the hard work you can sit down with your fellow classmates to discuss what you have learned, enjoying some fine wine and a wonderful dinner. It is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon."

Roll up your sleeves and spend two hours in the kitchen with Michael & Susan Maddox and the Le Titi De Paris staff. Learn how to prepare great meals & dishes for your friends and family! The cooking class is divided into groups of 5 people per group. Each group makes all the recipes that are featured that day. Each group rotates to a new station every half hour working with a different chef to complete the recipes.
After your time in the kitchen, you will sit down and enjoy a four course menu of the dishes that were prepared in class with wine pairings.
Apron and recipes are provided for each student.
